Kaitlynn B Photography specializes in Portrait, Engagement, Wedding, Maternity, and Family photography in and around Hudson Valley, NY, North East Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. I love being able to follow life journeys and capture moments for a couple or family, the small moments that mean the most to them. Turning your moments into art is my passion. The excitement from an engagement session, the grand love during a wedding, the beauty of bringing a baby into the world, or the cherished smiles from a family session, let’s make your moments into KBP moments.

I believe that photography is an art form, and I strive to create images that are not only beautiful but also unique and emotional. My creative vision allows me to see each subject in a different light, resulting in stunning and memorable photographs.

Hey!  I‘m Kaitlynn but anyone I know calls me Katie. I’m a photographer based in the Hudson Valley and the first thing you need to know about me is I love coffee. Not in a oh momma needs her coffee way but in a theres always coffee brewing at my house way. I’m the mother of 3 girls (hence the coffee) and engaged.

while I’ve lived in the Hudson Valley most of my life I’ve had the blessing of traveling and living in other states around the US for short stents of time, which if you can visit or move around I really suggest you do! Moving around when I was young definitely felt like the end of the world but looking back, especially after meeting people who lived in one town their whole lives, it was one of my life’s greatest blessings. I had the opportunity to see the way of life in different areas, experience different types of beauty in nature, and just experience people as a whole. That being said I like to think I’m a great judge of character. 

Im the mother of 3 girls and anyone who has even one little girl can tell you it’s not for the weak! My daughters are truly great, they are sweet and smart and absolutely the most caring people. That being said they also have an attitude always, but it leads to laughs so it’s a blessing too.

I started photography in middle school. My father got me a kids digital camera and I was hooked. I took photos of everything I saw, anyone who would let me, and of course a ton of peace sign selfies (those are locked in a vault). I genuinely still have to stop myself from putting up a peace sign in pictures now but if I’m not thinking about it I will 100% do it.  I took some time away from photography and focused on art and design. I have always been fascinated with how art is interpreted differently by everyone. In college I studied Graphic Design and Photography. I knew I loved photography and editing but never once did I think I’d start my own business.

After college I had my first daughter and my love for photography blossomed! And that love grew with every addition to my family. The feeling I get looking back at photos of my daughters and watching my family grow is something I want to share with all of my clients. So my love for photography, art, and life all came together to form Kaitlynn B Photography and I could not be more excited!
